Sensei Steve Darkes

Sensei Steve Darkes 5th Dan

Sensei Steve Darkes was trained by Toru Takamizawa Sensei. Steve is the Chief Instructor of the Sutton Karate Kan. Sutton Karate Kan has been in existence for over 30 years and has produced some oustanding students. Sensei Peter Kay 2nd Dan Chief Instructor of Zanshin Karate Kan and Assistant Instructor of Sutton Karate Kan being one of them.

Sutton Karate Kan has previously achieved National Recognition through its competition teams and caputured the coveted Tera Karate National Championship title for two years running.

Steve is one of the most highly qualified British Karate Instructors in the Midlands and over the years the Karate scene has taken him around the United Kingdom and overseas. His main interest apart from his own training is the development of Sutton Karate Kan.
